The First Online Violin for Tango Master Course
iClassical Academy presents the first Online Violin for Tango Master Course to celebrate Piazzolla’s 100th Anniversary. A creation of ESTACION BUENOS AIRES, this course aims to cover a complete picture of Tango and its composers’ history and background, the technique of playing, including exercises and examples. Performances and lessons were recorded in November 2020 in Buenos Aires.

Content of the Master Course
The Master course is carried out entirely in Spanish language with English subtitles, illustrating the basic outlines of the violin’s technical tango execution and including exercises on unique violin for tango techniques. Lessons include Tango history, its development, and provide performances of the fundamental repertoire, from the typical ensembles and their chronology, thanks to the participations of the most relevant artists of the current tango scene in Buenos Aires, including a dance couple.

Estación Buenos Aires is a musical project developed thanks to Gabriela Olcese and Rafael Gintoli, its director and soloist. They, together with prominent Argentine artists, propose thematic programs that are distinguished by their originality. The Violin for Tango Master Course was recorded on the special occasion of Piazzolla's 100th Anniversary in Teatro San Martin in Buenos Aires.
