If your library does not have an online catalog, you may consider joining Find More Illinois. The program is open to any library in Illinois, and the startup costs and annual membership fee are waived until July 2023. In addition to providing access to library holdings, you can also request materials from other libraries through the system. Joining Find More Illinois is free of charge, and libraries of all sizes are welcome to join. Nonautomated libraries will have to follow special considerations for setup.

You can also use the application Find My Friends to share your location with your friends. If you lose track of your friend, you can find them indefinitely. Other people can also notify you when they have been seen. The service respects your privacy, so you can share your location without worrying about anyone seeing it. If you are worried about your friend’s safety, you can notify them to find you.
